The Sun and The Solar System; The Sun sat in the sky, heating up all around him with his warm glow. Day in, day out, shine, shine, shine. Now, even a hard-working disc needs a break from work every now and then. Thinking of what he could do to break up the mundane, a thought came to him. I bet my buddy the Moon would have an idea for some fun. So the Sun wrote a note to the Moon. It read,” Hey, Moon! I know you like to fool around. have any ideas on how I can let loose?” The Sun called a delivery star to take his note to the Moon. When the Moon received the message from the Sun, the Moon tapped his chin and thought a bit about how she could help the Sun. After pondering for a few nights, the Moon came up with an idea.                    One morning when the Sun rose in the sky, a delivery star came to him with two wrapped boxes from the Moon. “What’s this?” asked the Sun. “Open them and see,” replied the Star. The Sun was all excited because he didn’t receive many presents, and one by one, he opened the boxes. Inside was a container with the label “PLANET BUBBLES.” A note was also included inside the gift box. It read, “Dear Sun, enclosed is a fun way to relax and literally blow off steam.” There was another note inside the other box. It had instructions. It read, ” Take out the wand, dip it into the container, and blow.” Well, alrighty then, I’ll give it a go, thought the Sun to himself. He took the wand out of the container. It had a loop on one end. Dipping the wand into the container, and with a mighty blow, he blew into the loop. What came out of the other side surprised him. It was bubbles, but inside the bubbles were planets of all different sizes and colors. They slowly floated away from him and drifted into space. Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter. Then out came Mars, Earth, Venus, and Mercury. The Sun gave out a hearty laugh. He thought he’d better stop there, not wanting the sky to get too full of planets and nine being his favorite number and all. He put the cap back on the “PLANET BUBBLE” container and put it next to the wand. This, my friends, is how the solar system came to be.
